Rod Ooge B.Bus (Acc) CPA
Rod joined McFillin Accounting as Business Services Manager in early 2010 after spending over 13 years working in Public Practice Accounting. Within the firm, Rod has been responsible with assisting in developing our systems and processes as the practice has gone through a period of sustained growth. His role has also been that of a mentor to junior staff within the business.
From a client perspective, Rod has been responsible for developing client relationships amongst our portfolio of small to medium business clients. Rod has a wide range of experience in accounting, tax and audit across a number of industries from construction and property development to retail. He also has significant experience in the administration of Self Managed Superannuation Funds, during his career having worked in roles that have exposed him to both the accounting and audit process for SMSFs.
Away from the office, Rod enjoys playing touch football and netball and is also a keen follower of sports. He also enjoys reading, cinema and is always on the lookout for opportunities to practice his Spanish.
