Cam Overs

Director

Cam is a driven person and works tirelessly, both in the office and at home with his wife Danielle and two children. His parents taught him to give 100% every time you do something, to never give up and no matter the result, get back out there and finish it. Cam’s youth basketball coach told him that he couldn’t be 10% better as that was impossible, but he could be 1% better at 10 things. Cam has carried this through to this day and uses it all the time.  Cam’s life philosophy is to aim for the stars; if you fall short you will still have achieved a lot. Cam enjoys football and rugby league and would love to own a European football club or his beloved Manly.

Rob Bates

Director

Rob is an early riser and is often the first one in the office. He learned his hard honest reliable work ethic from his dad who was a tradesman. His mum always wanted better for her children and this is something he will strive for when he has children of his own. Rob’s motto is that the best way to attain success is by helping build other people’s success. He also believes that if you are the smartest person in the room, you are in the wrong room. Rob sees himself in 10 years continuing to help staff and clients achieve their financial goals.

Rod Ooge

Director

Rod was born in Belgium and came to Australia with his parents when he was very young. There were a couple of tough years while settling in and his parents showed him that if you keep working on a problem, one way or another you will find a solution. He is currently working on improving his health and fitness to allow him to have a better frame of mind to attack tasks head on (as well as helping him chase his two young sons around). Rod’s partner Marta is Spanish and he did not know any Spanish when he first met her. So he moved to Spain for the best part of a year, going to school and learning the language so he could feel like a real part of her family and friendship group (as many of them knew little or no English). Rod believes that there are always more things to learn and better ways to do things.
