Meet the team – Kim

Kim joined McFillin in 2015, this was Kim’s second employment as a Client Service Officer (Admin) as she was originally employed by Mike McFillin many years earlier & had the opportunity to come back and join Cam & Rod when they initially acquired the practice. With the current partners at the helm, our practice is growing each year, so the working day is extremely full & varied for Kim with lots of Client & Staff interaction- so it makes for an interesting working environment!

Kim finds accounting practices certainly very different from any other industry she had worked in, straight out of school Kim completed an apprenticeship in the hairdressing industry & then 10 years in the industrial manufacturing industry (polar opposites) and now having experienced over 20 years in the Financial Services industry (which Kim finds most stimulating by far).

Outside of work Kim likes to keep active both socially & physically, certainly more emphasis on the social! A perfect weekend for Kim would be hiking in a national park & finishing the day off with a relaxing dinner & drinks with friends!
